Facebook page to website: how Bangladesh sellers move orders to their own store
Your Facebook page still finds buyers. The problem starts after “price please?” — sizes in one thread, addresses in another, and Pathao booked from a note.
A website does not replace the page. It sits next to it: one catalog, one checkout, one order list. Keep Messenger and WhatsApp for questions. Put the store link in the bio so the order lands somewhere you own.

Why a Facebook page alone starts to break
F-commerce works because buyers are already on Facebook. It frays when volume rises:
- Orders live in chat. A comment, a Messenger thread and a WhatsApp reply are not an order list.
- Stock is a guess. The same size gets promised twice because nothing holds the quantity.
- You do not own the address.
facebook.com/yourpageis Meta's URL. A restriction can cut off the only place customers know. See why a Facebook bio is not a domain. - Google barely sees your products. Posts do not rank like product pages.
None of this means delete the page. It means the page should stop being the warehouse.
What “page to website” actually means
Split the jobs — do not abandon Facebook:
| Job | Keep on Facebook | Move to your store |
|---|---|---|
| Finding buyers | Posts, ads, Reels | Organic search over time |
| Questions and trust | Messenger / WhatsApp | Product page for size and delivery basics |
| Catalog and prices | Scattered posts | One list with stock |
| Taking the order | Inbox screenshots | Checkout with name, phone, address, COD |
| Booking the courier | Copy-paste | Book from the order (paid plan) |
Same idea as f-commerce vs ecommerce — this page is the StoreOS path to do it.
How StoreOS fits a Facebook seller
StoreOS is a Bangladesh-focused store builder: catalog, checkout, cash on delivery, and Pathao plus Steadfast in one console, billed in taka.
Free already takes COD
On Free (Tk 0) you get the website builder, 50 products, unlimited orders, one staff account, and cash on delivery. You can put a storefront next to your page and collect COD without paying yet.
Silver when you need couriers and a domain
Silver is Tk 499/month with a 7-day trial. It adds Pathao and Steadfast booking from the order list, custom domain, customer SMS OTP, coupons, guest checkout, and online payment (bKash and SSLCommerz via Integrations). Pro is Tk 1,190/month with unlimited products. Live limits stay on pricing.
Keep chat; send a product link
Buyers still ask “apa, M ache?” Reply with the product URL. The site holds the photo, size and stock so the thread is not the warehouse — see keep WhatsApp, put the catalog on a site.
Move in five steps (without killing Messenger)
- Create the store at /signup with a Bangladeshi mobile. You get
name.storeos.shop. - Add products that already sell. Copy titles and photos from your best posts. Start with 10–20 SKUs.
- Turn on COD. Free takes it. Settings → Payments → enable cash on delivery.
- Place a test order to yourself and confirm it lands in the console.
- Share beside the page.Put the store URL in the Facebook Website field and bio. Reply to “price please?” with the product link. Keep Messenger orders while people learn the site.
When the first parcel needs booking, start Silver, connect Pathao or Steadfast with your own merchant account, and book from the order list. Details: Pathao and Steadfast integration and migrate Facebook Shop.
What this page is not promising
- No automatic Facebook catalog import is claimed here — plan to add products yourself unless you verify an import tool on the live product.
- StoreOS is not a courier. You need your own Pathao or Steadfast merchant account. Rates and COD fees come from the courier.
- OTP helps; it is not a fraud oracle. Customer SMS OTP (Silver/Pro) confirms a real handset. It does not replace third-party courier-history checks if that is your process.
- No invented market stats. Other guides quote huge Facebook-shop counts or exact reach percentages. We do not.
Who already runs this way
GearHaat (gearhaat.com) and Sporty BD (sportybd.com) run on StoreOS in production. Names and URLs only — no revenue or order counts.
Soft next step
Build the catalog on Free. Put the link in your Facebook bio this week. Upgrade to Silver when the first order needs Pathao or Steadfast.

FAQ
Do I have to leave Facebook to use a website?
No. Keep the page for posts, ads and conversation. Use the store for catalog, checkout and order history.
Can I take cash on delivery on Free?
Yes. Live pricing (checked 13 Oct 2026) includes COD on Free. Pathao and Steadfast booking, custom domain, guest checkout and online payment start on a paid plan.
How is this different from Shopify for a Facebook seller?
Shopify bills in USD and treats Pathao/Steadfast as apps. StoreOS bills in taka, takes COD on Free, and books Pathao or Steadfast from the order on Silver. See the Shopify alternative page.
Will customers still message me?
Yes. Expect price and size questions in Messenger. Answer with a product link so the order lands in the console.
When should I connect Pathao or Steadfast?
When you are ready to book real parcels from the order list. That needs Silver or Pro and your own courier merchant account. Until then, Free still records COD orders.
