Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use storeos.dev, create a merchant account, or run a store on StoreOS.
Last updated 9 September 2026
The service
StoreOS provides an online store platform: merchant console, hosted storefront, site builder, themes, custom domain, catalog, checkout, orders, COD, courier integrations, and APIs so you can run a shop in Bangladesh — or build a custom storefront on the same APIs.
We may change features, plans, and availability. Some capabilities depend on the plan you pay for.
Accounts
You must provide accurate signup details (name, email, Bangladesh mobile number) and complete SMS OTP verification. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access credentials secure.
You must be able to form a contract under Bangladesh law. StoreOS is for businesses, not for personal consumer use as the end customer of a shop.
Your store
You own your catalog, content, trademarks, and customer relationships. You grant StoreOS a licence to host, display, and process that material only to provide the service (including backups, CDN delivery, and integrations you enable).
You are responsible for:
- Products you list, prices, taxes, and legal compliance of your shop
- Your contracts with your customers (refunds, delivery, COD collection)
- Getting consent for marketing you send
- Connecting couriers, domains, and third-party apps correctly and paying those providers
Acceptable use
You may not use StoreOS to:
- Break the law or sell prohibited goods
- Infringe other people's IP, privacy, or publicity rights
- Attack, overload, or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law
- Resell StoreOS as if you were us, without a written partner agreement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that put the platform, other merchants, or customers at risk.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed through our payment partner (Graphland PGW). Prices, cycles, and entitlements are shown at signup and in the console. Fees are in the currency stated on the plan. Unpaid invoices may lead to feature limits or account suspension.
Third-party fees (SMS, courier, domain registrars, WhatsApp Business) are between you and those providers unless we say otherwise in writing.
APIs and custom storefronts
If you use the Storefront API or @storeos/storefront-client, you must keep API keys and tenant credentials secret, respect rate limits, and only access data for stores you are authorised to operate.
Availability
We aim to keep StoreOS available and publish status at our status page linked from the site footer. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, upstream outages (Cloudflare, SMS, couriers, payment networks), and force majeure can cause downtime.
Intellectual property
StoreOS, the console, themes we provide, documentation, and the storeos.dev site are our intellectual property (or our licensors'). You may not copy the platform except as needed to use the service.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policyexplains how we handle personal data. You must handle your customers' data lawfully.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent Bangladesh law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages, or for issues caused by your content, your customers, couriers, payment networks, or your custom storefront code. Our total liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for StoreOS in the three months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Bangladesh law.
Termination
You may stop using StoreOS at any time. We may stop providing the service or close an account with notice where practical, or immediately for breach, non-payment, or legal risk. After termination, we may delete or anonymise store data after any retention period described in the Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Courts in Dhaka have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any competent court.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page is the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
