A Facebook bio is not a domain

yourpage.facebook.com is Meta’s URL. A shop on your own domain is something a buyer can trust and return to. On StoreOS, custom domain starts on a paid plan.

Buyers paste links. They do not bookmark your Messenger thread.

If the only URL you have is a Facebook page, you rent the storefront from Meta. Reach drops, the page gets restricted, or the layout changes, and the catalog you spent years posting is not a site you control.

A real shop needs an address that is yours: yourbrand.com or yourbrand.com.bd. SSL on that host. A product URL you can put in an ad and still find next year.

What StoreOS gives you

Hosted shops can live on a StoreOS subdomain (*.storeos.shop). That is fine while you load products.

A custom domain is a paid-plan entitlement. Free does not attach your .com. We will not say it takes five minutes. DNS is yours to point; the console is where you connect it.

Look at pricing for the live catalog. Do not reuse a screenshot from last year.

What to buy first

  1. The domain at any registrar that sells .com.bd or .com.
  2. The catalog on Free, if you are still counting SKUs.
  3. The paid plan when you want checkout, Pathao, Steadfast, and the custom host.

Keep the Facebook page. Put the domain in the bio. The page is advertising. The domain is the store.

GearHaat is gearhaat.com. Sporty BD is sportybd.com. Those are shops, not page IDs.
